Peery Foundation visits 1AM!

A group from the Peery Foundation recently visited 1AM gallery for a fun workshop. The Peery Foundation’s mission is strengthen youth and families to build lives of dignity and self-reliance. Their group enjoyed a unique learning experience at our gallery, led by our talented instructors. First, our instructors give a quick history lesson about graffiti and street art in San Francisco. Then they can come up with their own tag names, practice writing on canvas, and eventually they get to collaborate on a big group painting. The Peery Foundation team put their minds together to create a beautiful mural on the side of our building, choosing the word “Dignity” to represent themselves. This team-building workshops are a great way for employees to bond outside of work in a creative setting. To book a workshop, contact info@firstamendmentgallery.com! Check out some photos from the event below.
