Brian Goggin knows how to throw a fundraiser.  With a lot of help and support from friends, the night was filled with wonderful surprises, music, photos, cupcakes and beautiful people radiating with positive energy.

The merlot grapes

This past Sunday (we are closed on Sundays and Mondays), team 1:AM headed up to Sonoma to visit one of our biggest supporters, Jeff. Our first and only stop was Gundlach Bundschu winery. From their chardonnay to the merlot to the pinot noir, their wine was delicious.  Our absolute favorite was the Gewurtztraminer 2008.

Not only is their wine extraordinary, the winery has a rich history.  The winery began in the mid 1800′s and has been managed by six generations of the Bundschu family.  They have 350 acres of land dedicated to growing different types of grapes.  Jeff, who leads the company, has amazing ideas to incorporate into this 150 year old establishment.  One of the best things about him is that he also encourages his daughters to explore their creative side.  His eldest daughter, Gracie, painted one of their wine labels and has tried her hand at graffiti letters with Roman!  We can’t wait to see  what’s next for Gundlach Bundschu winery… and Gracie’s next masterpiece!
