When given the theme “Circle of Life”, a couple of artists depicted the theme through growth and life cycles of flowers. What is so interesting is the different ways they portrayed it on their canvases. Here are the art pieces that can be blossoming on your walls:

CIRCLE OF LIFE = BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE

While we were looking through the pictures of the opening reception of our current exhibition “Circle of Life”, we realized that a lot of beautiful people came out to support. They were not only good to look at but everyone radiated positive energy. We don’t know if it was because of the elixirs that our bartenders were mixing up or the holiday spirit or a little of both but we noticed that people were friendlier, laughing and drama free, not to say that we ever have drama… ok, fine maybe one time.

RECAP OF “CIRCLE OF LIFE” OPENING

Last Friday, ArtNowSF and 1:AM gallery hosted the opening reception of “Circle of Life”. It was a great event with lots of beautiful people. Joey Gross, the founder and CEO of ArtNowSF, knows how to bring the illest artists together and how to throw a party.

If you missed the opening, no worries cuz the show is going to be up through January 30th, 2010. The art is priced very reasonably. Seriously, the artist stayed in the $150 – $300 range. And they make the perfect presents for any occasion.

CIRCLE OF LIFE OPENING TONIGHT AND DON’T FORGET THE TOYS!

‘Tis the season to be giving and ArtNowSF and 1:AM gallery has made it easy for you to do just that. Tonight we will be showcasing 40+ artists that have created masterpieces on different sized wooden circles. The best part is that the prices are affordable (try $150-$300). Since all the artists interpreted “Circle of Life” differently, you will be able to find that unique, cool, and people-will-remember-for-years-to-come gifts for all your family and friends here.

1:AM gallery will also be a toy donation station through December 24th, 2009 for Friends of the Children, Opportunity Impact, and My Own Two Hands. Please bring only new, or like-new toys to donate. Every toy donor will receive one ticket redeemable for an artist painted ornament while supplies last. When you donate toys to needy children, you are not only giving a toy but also the gift of inspiration and hope.

By the way, did we mention that since this is kinda-sorta our holiday party, we will be exercising our full liquor license? Not to the fullest, but we will be flexing it a bit more than we have in the past. Come on by tonight between 7-10pm and kick off your holiday week the right way! See you tonight!

“Circle of Life” opens this Friday, December 18th from 7-10pm. There are 40+ artists participating in this event and they have created masterpieces on different sized wood circles. And let me tell you, they did not hold back. Here is a sneak peek of some of the pieces:
