Our Belgian friend, BUE, landed in San Francisco and stopped by the gallery to say hi.
BUE and KEB went to the roof for a freestyle collaboration.
Here is from his first visit to 1AM back in the day. For more of his work, CLICK HERE

From the streets to 1AM gallery, Vogue has elevated the bar for spray can art. If you haven’t seen his street and gallery works, you need to come down to 1AM gallery and witness both. With Vogue’s solo exhibition at 1AM and two amazing streetside productions nearby, we still can’t get enough.
Vogue’s exhibition brings glimpses of his life to the viewer using only spray cans.
Nothing lasts forever, so make sure to get up close and personal before its gone. If you’d like to view the purchase the remaining artwork, please visit us at store1amsf.com.
How many people can say they brought the Elephunk? Two of our “Outside In” exhibition artists certainly can as they managed to carve out some time from their busy 1AM gallery installation work to do so. It all started when a SOMA tech company, Cloudflare, contacted us to add some life to their freight elevator.
As we usually do for art projects, we drafted a few concepts, brought the right team together, picked up our Spanish Montana 94 colors, and got Elephunky.
If you want to get Elephunky, or just want 1AM to bring the phunk to your walls, contact info@1amsf.com for details.
Mike Kershnar painted a vibrant mural of a coyote for us back in October for the Nature’s Revenge show. Sean Desmond made this amazing video of the work in progress. The frenetic style of the video is captivating. And we love how the neighborhood features in it as much as the art! Seriously, check out the chick at 1:28.
Mike made the whole mural with tools from 1AM. Sean made the whole video from brilliant!
Thanks, Mike and Sean.
Come check out the new selection of exclusive tees at 1:AM designed by yours truly! Our resident artist designed these fresh shirts with clever imagery that will leave your friends wondering, “where did you get that awesomeness that is your shirt?” At $20 each, these make the perfect Christmas gift for your loved ones.
Be on the lookout for more exclusive 1:AM designed shirts in more sizes. We also have some women’s tees in the making!
The hottest days of summer 2010 fell upon us on August 22nd and 23rd. And where were we? We were basking in the sun, stenciling shirts for UC Berkeley students and their friends, at Caltopia 2010.
We stenciled hundreds and hundreds of shirts. Everyone was gracious despite the long lines (which were a hundred people deep), the heat, and the wait time of up to an hour!
Even though we were very tired and sun burnt from this event, we did realize something, we have the best team… ever! Dan (the mastermind), Roman (zee artiste director), Nick (covert ops), Robert (the youngun) and Michele (our new intern who is probably wondering what the she got herself into) are rock stars! YEEEEEE!
Check out more photos on our flickr!
If you are interested in having us at your next event, email at info@1AMSF.com.
A couple of weeks ago, we did a post on Mear One’s mural he did in San Francisco for Gitane Restaurant and 1:AM. Here is a video that Mear’s buddy, Roger Griffith, filmed, mixed and produced capturing what took place in a little tucked away alley in downtown San Francisco on an ordinary weekend back in April.
1:AM gallery is proud to announce that we are now carrying Foreign Family Clothing!
Foreign Family, an L.A. based clothing line, was started by our close friends Mr. 44 and Chad Moon in 2005. They have quickly risen in the ranks of the boutique fashion industry and have earned a reputation of having unique, creative images and themes, mostly hand drawn by Mr. 44 himself. We at 1:AM decided to introduce Foreign Family to the Bay Area by carrying some of their classic, throwback designs that were recently exclusively reprinted. Check out more of their stuff on their website, or purchase it online on our e-commerce site toyjunkiesf.com or even better, in person at 1:AM!
