Mike “Bam” Tyau’s Bio:

Mike “Bam” Tyau is a graphic designer and computer animator with roots in grafitti art.  A founding member of the Hawai’i graffiti union Masters in Art, Bam later moved to San Francisco in the mid-80s.  With the Together With Style crew, Bam was an active graffiti muralist from the mid 80s through the early 90s.  Taking a sabbatical from graffiti, Bam started his work career in the videogame industry as a commercial artist for Sega and PlayStation.  He also started his own computer animation company.  In recent years, Bam has returned to graffiti, working on both his own murals and as art director for the Estria Invitational Graffiti Battle.

Make sure you join us again for our closing reception this Saturday, October 16th where special guest speaker, Spie, is going to discuss graffiti as an art form.
